Graduates of Pura Vida Recovery Services are eligible to enroll at CalRegional and we will cover the cost of tuition, a $3,000 value! Once our graduates become students at CalRegional they only have to cover the cost of course materials (books and scrubs.) CalRegional courses run for no longer than 6 weeks and are located in the same business park as Pura Vida Recovery Services. After graduating from the CalRegional program all students are guaranteed a paid externship by CalRegional in order to obtain necessary training hours, after which they will be fully licensed to seek employment as a licensed medical assistant or phlebotomy technician, both high paying and rewarding jobs. Many of our past graduates have completed this program and are happily employed in their new career.
Pura Vida has partnered with CalRegional, California’s leader in adult education in the medical field, to provide full scholarships for Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician certifications or to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
